A very beautiful and meaningful song for me. I was inspired by the solo piano live performance on
the Silver & Gold DVD. This song actually appears on Crosby Stills Nash & Young's CD Looking Forward
however Young's solo piano performance is so much more powerful than the studio CSNY version.

Dude I wonder how pissed his record company was when he brought them this. They probably wanted another "Down By The River" or something. Thank god he did this though it's amazing and broke down what a "Rock" band could do.

I haven't heard any "Trans" era Neil in years. Not my favorite Neil style music, but hey...its Neil. I saw him on this tour in Athens Ohio in early 1983. My wife was 7months pregnant at the time with our son. He is a musician & has always loved music....maybe because he heard Neil Young in utero?

Fuck this is so good.
It is a pity it is buried under so much of Neil's other work. I love how Neil has done it his own way all his life. So inspiring.
